Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2625972A2] The device has a longitudinal conveyer (1), a cross conveyer (2) and a guiding device (4) for supplying rod-shaped products (17) to the longitudinal conveyor. A sensor device (12) is arranged on gutters of the longitudinal conveyer and/or on gutters of the cross conveyer, and determines position of the products in the gutters. A control device (20) controls a drive device (10) of the longitudinal conveyer, a height adjusting device (13) of the guiding device and/or a device for changing position of the products in longitudinal axes based on signal generated by the sensor device. The sensor device is designed as a digital camera with an image evaluation device. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a conveyor device.
