Abstract (en)
The engine has connectors (13, 14) for connecting a drive shaft with a piston. A lubrication- or cooling device lubricates or cools a cylinder and/or the piston and/or the connector by a fluid medium. A connecting pipe (11) promotes the medium from a reservoir i.e. common-rail storage unit, to a work place. The connecting pipe partly runs through the connector such that the medium is present in the connecting pipe under pressure (P1). The medium is received in another connecting pipe (12) at another pressure (P2), which is higher than the maximum pressure in a normal operation. The fluid medium is selected from a lubricant or a coolant. An independent claim is also included for a method for lubricating or cooling a high-power engine.

Der Grossmotor umfasst einen Zylinderliner (20), einen Kolben (25), welcher verschiebbar im Zylinderliner (20) angeordnet ist, eine Antriebswelle sowie ein Verbindungselement (13, 14, 19, 120) zur Verbindung der Antriebswelle mit dem Kolben (25), umfassend eine Vorrichtung für die Schmierung oder Kühlung des Zylinders und/oder des Kolbens und/oder der Verbindungselemente mittels eines fluiden Mediums, sowie eine erste Verbindungsleitung (11) zur Förderung des fluiden Mediums von einem Reservoir (30) zum Einsatzort (7, 17). Die erste Verbindungsleitung (11) verläuft zumindest teilweise durch die Verbindungselemente, wobei das fluide Medium in der ersten Verbindungsleitung (11) im wesentlichen unter dem Druck P1 steht, wobei eine zweite Verbindungsleitung (12) vorgesehen ist, in welcher ein fluides Medium aufgenommen ist, welches unter einem Druck P2 steht und der Druck P2 im Normalbetrieb höher als der maximale Druck P1 ist.
