Abstract (en)

A radio receiver includes a broadcasting station list creating unit (42) that creates a broadcasting station list, an entry determining unit (43) that determines whether the radio receiver has entered a tunnel, an exit determining unit (44) that determines whether the radio receiver has exited from the tunnel, a list holding unit (45) that holds the contents of the list when the radio receiver has entered a tunnel, a seek processing unit (46) that sweeps a receive frequency in one direction when a frequency sweeping instruction is issued and that stops the sweeping of the frequency when a broadcasting signal is detected, a mute processing unit (47) that keeps output sound in a non-sound state, and a list holding determining unit (48) that determines, on the basis of a result by the exit determining unit (44), whether or not the contents of the list should continue to be held.
