[origin: WO2012048991A1] The invention relates to a windshield wiping device (1) for a motor vehicle, in particular a rear window wiping device, having a wiper motor (2) that can be fastened by means of a fastening arrangement (3) to a vehicle body (7) of the motor vehicle, in that the fastening arrangement (4) is or can be connected to the vehicle body (7) via a plurality of fastening points, wherein the connection between the fastening arrangement (4) and the vehicle body (7) is formed by a plurality of adhesive surfaces (6) formed on the fastening arrangement (4), wherein on said adhesive surfaces at least one adhesive element can be or is applied for forming an adhesive bond between the vehicle body (7) and the fastening arrangement (4). Protrusions (9) are provided in the vehicle body (7) in the contact region having the adhesive surfaces, in particular in the form of embossments made in the vehicle body (7), engaging in recesses or cutouts (8) correspondingly designed at the adhesive surfaces (6) for receiving radial forces.
