[origin: WO2012049254A1] The present invention relates to stain- or dye-resistant fibers, textiles and carpets made of a polymer composition (C) comprising at least one semi-aromatic polyamide comprising recurring units resulting from the condensation of terephthalic acid and at least one aliphatic diamine selected from the group consisting of 1,8-octanediamine, 1,9-nonanediamine, 2-methyl-1,8-octanediamine, 1,10-decanediamine, 1,12-dodecanediamine, 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,6-hexanediamine, 2,4,4-trimethyl-1,6-hexanediamine, 5-methyl-1,9-nonanediamine, methylcyclohexanediamine, isophoronediamine and mixtures thereof, wherein the color of said fiber has a lightness (L*) of at least 50 in the CIE 1976 (L*, a*, b*) color space when measured according to ASTM E308-08.
