[origin: WO2012048843A1] The present invention relates to a fence (1) by means of which a wire panel (3) can be attached to a fence post (2) in a secure and simple manner without involving the use of accessories, comprising a fence post (2), a wire panel (3) with horizontal (3a) and vertical (3b) wires, a hook element (4) over which a horizontal wire (3a) can be hooked in order to attach the wire panel (3) to the fence post (2), and a detaining element (5, 10) for detaining the wire panel (3) when the wire panel (3) is lifted out of engagement with the hook element (4) from the installed position of the fence (1).
