[origin: WO2012048722A1] The invention relates to a combustion engine comprising a plurality of cylinders and with at least one cylinder head (10), inlet channels (12) of the cylinder head (10) opening onto an inlet flange surface (16) and outlet channels (14) opening onto an outlet flange surface (18) which is arranged opposite, and at least one oil chamber (26) for an actuation device for two-way gas valves being provided above a chamber in the cylinder head (10) holding the inlet and outlet channels (12, 14) and a coolant chamber (20), the inlet flange surface (16) and the outlet flange surface (18) being arranged at an incline to one another such that an imaginary line (22) intersecting the two flange surfaces (16, 18) lies above the cylinder head (10), and such that the cylinder head (10) has a cross-section which is at least substantially triangular. The invention also relates to a method for producing such a combustion engine.
