[origin: WO2012049387A1] The invention relates to a method of recharging a supercapacitor module (44) of an internal combustion engine motor vehicle at rest and of automatic restarting, the on-board network (20) comprising at least one electrical consumer (66) providing a security service for the motor vehicle, the method comprising: the determination of the state of activation of the at least one sensitive electrical consumer (66); the determination of the power consumption of the at least one sensitive electrical consumer (66) in the activated state; the generation of a setpoint current for recharging the supercapacitor module (44) available from the difference between the electrical energy that the starter-alternator (64) can produce and the power consumption of the at least one sensitive electrical consumer (66) in the activated state so as to take account of the maintenance of the power supply for the at least one sensitive electrical consumer (66). The invention also relates to a vehicle comprising a computer for implementing the method of the invention.
