Die Erfindung betrifft ein Aschlusselement bzw. Verbreiterungselement für Rahmen, umfassend eine Sandwichplatte (12; 112; 212) mit zwei parallel im Abstand angeordneten Kunststoffplatten (14A, 14B; 114A, 114B; 214A, 214B; 314A, 314B; 414) und einer Isolationsschicht (16; 216; 316), die zwischen den beiden im Abstand angeordneten Kunststoffplatten (14A, 14B; 114A, 114B; 214A, 214B; 314A, 314B; 414) vorgesehen ist, und zwei Verbindungselementen (18A, 18B, 32A, 32B; 118A, 118B; 218A, 218B; 318A, 318B), die an wenigstens einer Stirnseite der Sandwichplatte (12; 112; 212) jeweils am Rand der Isolationsschicht (16; 216; 316) angeordnet sind, wobei wenigstens ein Verbindungselement (18A, 18B, 32A, 32B; 118A, 118B; 218A, 218B; 318A, 318B) ein Einfügeelement, das zwischen einer Kunststoffplatte (14A, 14B; 114A, 114B; 214A, 214B; 314A, 314B; 414) und der Isolationsschicht (16; 216; 316) angeordnet ist und in die Isolationsschicht (16; 216; 316) greift, und ein unter einem Winkel zum Einfügeelement ausgerichtetes Auflageelement (22, 36; 122; 322) umfasst und wenigstens eine Kunststoffplatte (14A, 14B; 114A, 114B; 214A, 214B; 314A, 314B; 414) ein erstes Rastmittel (26, 46; 126; 226; 326; 426) aufweist, wobei das wenigstens eine Verbindungselement (18A, 18B, 32A, 32B; 118A, 118B; 218A, 218B; 318A, 318B) ein zweites Rastmittel (24, 42; 124; 224; 324) aufweist, das mit dem ersten Rastmittel (26, 44; 126; 226; 326; 426) der Kunststoffplatte (14A, 14B; 114A, 114B; 214A, 214B; 314A, 314B; 414) eine Rastverbindung zwischen der wenigstens einen Kunststoffplatte (14A, 14B; 114A, 114B; 214A, 214B; 314A, 314B; 414) und dem wenigstens einen Verbindungselement (18A, 18B, 32A, 32B; 118A, 118B; 218A, 218B; 318A, 318B) ausbildet.
