The frame connector (18) is positioned on the end faces of the sandwich board (16) having two parallel spaced plastic plates (12A,12B) and an insulation layer (14) provided between the spaced plastic plates. The connector is formed with profile strips (22,22') with two legs (24A,24B). The profiled strips and the two legs are arranged to form a U-shaped profile. The profile strips and the legs are arranged to surround the insulation layer.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Aschlusselement bzw. Verbreiterungselement für Rahmen, umfassend eine Sandwichplatte (12) mit zwei parallel im Abstand angeordneten Kunststoffplatten (14A, 14B) und einer Isolationsschicht (16), die zwischen den beiden im Abstand angeordneten Kunststoffplatten (14A, 14B) vorgesehen ist und ein Verbindungselement (18; 118) das an wenigstens einer Stirnseite der Sandwichplatte (12) angeordnet ist, wobei die beiden Kunststoffplatten (14A, 14B) Endabschnitte (17A, 17B) aufweisen, die jeweils über die Isolationsschicht (16) hinausragen und das Verbindungselement (18; 118) ein Plattenelement (20; 120) umfasst, das zwischen den beiden Endabschnitten (17A, 17B) der Kunststoffplatten (14A, 14B) angeordnet ist. Das Plattenelement (20; 120) ist formschlüssig zwischen den beiden Endabschnitten (17A, 17B) der Kunststoffplatten (14A, 14B) angeordnet, an jeder Kunststoffplatte (14A, 14B) ist ein erstes Rastmittel vorgesehen und das Plattenelement (20; 120) weist zwei Längsseiten auf, an denen jeweils ein zweites Rastmittel ausgebildet ist, wobei jedes erste Rastmittel mit einem zweiten Rastmittel eine Rastverbindung bildet.
