The flue (10) has an inflow port (18) for suctioning air, and an exhaust device (19) generating air barrier extending in environment space. The exhaust device is arranged above, below and/or laterally adjacent to the inflow port, and a ventilation device i.e. ventilator, is provided for suction and/or acceleration of air e.g. ambient air or supply air, from a supply air device. A heating device heats air provided to the exhaust device, and arranged between the ventilation device and the exhaust device. A control device controls the exhaust device, ventilation device and/or the heating device. An independent claim is also included for a method for suction of gaseous medium with a flue.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Abzug (10, 28, 32), insbesondere Laborabzug, zum Absaugen von gasförmigen Medien mit einer Einströmöffnung (18) zum Einsaugen von Luft. Um die Auswirkungen von für das Abzugsverhalten störenden Strömungen zu reduzieren, ist der Abzug (10, 28, 32) dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mindestens eine Ausströmeinrichtung (19, 29, 33) zum Erzeugen einer sich in einen Umgebungsraum erstreckenden Luftbarriere vorgesehen ist, wobei die Luftbarriere zum Umlenken von störenden Raumluft- und/oder Zuluftströmungen in Richtung des Umgebungsraumes und von der Einströmöffnung (18) weg gerichtet ist.
