The system has luminous elements (20) connected with each other by a flexible two or three-core supply conduits (5). A supply apparatus (10) is attached to the supply conduits, which transmit data signals over the supply conduits to control the luminous elements. A power supply providing unit provides a power supply voltage to the luminous elements at the supply conduits, and is provided as a component of the supply apparatus. The supply conduit is fed by the luminous elements that include an individual address, over which the luminous elements are in contact through the supply apparatus. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a luminous element (2) a method for operating a corresponding system for accent lighting or generating light effects.

Ein System (1) zur Akzentbeleuchtung oder zur Erzeugung von Leuchteffekten weist mehrere, über eine flexible zwei- oder dreiadrige Versorgungsleitung (5) verbundene Leuchtelemente (20), ein ebenfalls an die Versorgungsleitung (5) angeschlossenes Versorgungsgerät (10), welches dazu ausgebildet ist, Datensignale zur Ansteuerung der Leuchtelemente (20) über die Versorgungsleitung (5) an diese zu übermitteln, sowie Mittel zum Bereitstellen einer Versorgungsspannung für die Leuchtelemente (20) an der Versorgungsleitung (5), welche vorzugsweise Bestandteil des Versorgungsgeräts (10) sind, auf, wobei die Versorgungsleitung (5) durch die Leuchtelemente (20) geführt ist.
