[origin: WO2012052819A1] A device (1) for cutting a textile yarn (F) during its feed to an operator element such as a textile machine for its processing or a member for feeding it to such a machine, said device (1) comprising a blade member (21) inserted into a housing (2) presenting at least one aperture (10) for passage of said yarn (F), said blade member (21) being carried by a movable support element (20) subjected to actuator means for its movement, said movable support element (20) being able to assume two working positions, a first position in which the blade member (21) is spaced from the yarn (F) and a second position in which said member cooperates with the yarn (F) and cuts it. The actuator means comprise bistable electromagnetic means (12), a spring (25) mounted about the movable support member (20) urging the blade member (21) into the cutting position.
