According to the invention, it is provided that the locking element (12) is fixedly connected to the guide housing (10) prior to the initial installation of the drawer fitting (1) and that said connection can be released by the initial installation of the drawer fitting (1) to the lateral wall (7) of the drawer or by an initial movement of the locking element (12) within the guide housing (10).
