[origin: EP2631019A1] The machine (1) has a machine frame and upper and lower straightening units (3, 5), where each straightening units include a set of upper and lower straightening rollers (7, 9). The upper and lower straightening rollers are mounted in upper and lower bearing strips (19). Upper and lower support rollers (15, 17) support the straightening rollers, where the support rollers cooperate with the straightening rollers in a conveying direction of a material to be straightened. The support rollers are shifted along the direction of rotational axes (25) of the straightening rollers.
