[origin: EP2631545A1] The present invention relates to a heating plate including at least one temperature sensor element (20). The heating plate comprises a top panel (10) forming a top side of the heating plate, and a supporting plate (16) arranged below the top panel (10). The heating plate comprises a heating panel (14) arranged between the top panel (10) and the supporting plate (16), and at least one shaped hole (26) formed in the supporting plate (16). The shaped hole (26) comprises a bigger portion for inserting the temperature sensor element (20) and a smaller portion for fixing said temperature sensor element (20). In particular, the present invention relates to a heating plate for cooking appliances.
