Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012056394A1] The blocks (1) are manufactured from calibrated sections of solid material, all having for example the same length. These sections are positioned against one another so as to form a block (1). Some sections are upwardly offset so as to produce mortises and tenons that form projecting structures (16) for interlocking on at least one of the contact faces (6) of the blocks and one or more complementary receiving cavities (17) provided on the opposed contact faces (6) thereof, which constitute means for positioning and assembling the final block. The assembly of sections is placed in an injection mould and overmoulded with a layer of plastic. This overmoulding operation gives the block cohesion and an external shape with precise dimensions. The invention is of interest to manufacturers, vendors, installers and users of construction components for the building industry.
