Abstract (en)
The tread profile has a profile tape whose fine incisions (2) are rotated over periphery of a tread, to divide tape into profile band portions. An omega-shaped geometry is arranged in axial direction and is spaced from axial portions (5,6). A central protrusion (7) is arranged between the axial portions and is set with a maximum expansion (b) in circumferential direction. The central protrusion is engaged into a corresponding recess of the profile band portions so that undercut is formed for coupling the profile band portions with one another in circumferential direction.

Laufstreifenprofil (1) eines Fahrzeugreifens, welches ein über den Umfang des Laufstreifens umlaufendes Profilband (3) mit Feineinschnitten (2) aufweist, welche das Profilband (3) in Profilbandabschnitte (8, 9) unterteilen und wobei die Feineinschnitte (2) - in Aufsicht - eine etwa ©-förmige Geometrie aus zwei in etwa in axialer Richtung angeordneten, mit einem Abstand a voneinander beabstandeten Abschnitten (5, 6) und einer zwischen diesen Abschnitten (5, 6) angeordneten, in etwa in Umfangsrichtung ausgerichteten mittigen Vorwölbung (7) mit einer in axialer Richtung gemessenen maximalen Ausdehnung b aufweist, wobei die Vorwölbung (7) in eine korrespondierende Ausnehmung des angrenzenden Profilbandabschnittes (8, 9) eingreift und wobei a < b ist, so dass Hinterschneidungen (10) gebildet sind, durch welche diese zwei Profilbandabschnitte (8, 9) in Umfangsrichtung miteinander gekoppelt sind. Zur Verbesserung des Handlings und der Nasseigenschaften über die Lebensdauer des Laufstreifenprofils weisen die Feineinschnitte (2) ab einer Resttiefe (15) der Feineinschnitte von 3mm bis 0,4 x der Feineinschnitttiefe eine veränderte Geometrie auf, wobei die Hinterschneidungen (10) ausbildende Vorwölbung (7) nur bis zu dieser Resttiefe (15) ausgebildet ist.
