[origin: EP2634101A2] The machine i.e. film winding device (1), has a film supply roller (6) whose carrier (5) circumvents on a closed trajectory (4), which is movable over a frame vertical to a plane. The closed trajectory is flexibly adapted to a cross-section of transported goods (3) to be wrapped by insertion of straight extension pieces (9). An opening- and closing unit opens and closes the trajectory by moving a movable portion (10) of the trajectory. The movable portion of the trajectory is slidably located at a carriage (16) that is fixed on a part of the frame designed as a rail (17).
