[origin: EP2634102A1] The method involves interconnecting cover films (41) or cover film segments bounding the receiving area (12) and forming edge region (11). An aperture is introduced in the edge region. The cover films or cover film segments are provided with a channel system (56) having one channel (45). The channel system crosses the portion of cover film or cover film segment covering the receiving area. Each channel at one end is provided with a branch (44) passed into two channel branches (42,43). A slit is arranged between two channel branches, interrupting the peripheral edge of bag packaging. An independent claim is included for high density sealing bag packaging.
