Abstract (en)
In an elevator rope, outer layer strands are twisted together on an outer circumference of an inner layer rope, and a resin outer layer coating body is coated on an outer circumference of the layer of outer layer strands. A fiber core that is made of synthetic resin is disposed centrally in the inner layer rope. A resin round bar core, or a resin twisted core, for example, is used as the fiber core. A plurality of inner layer strands are twisted together outside the fiber core. A resin inner layer coating body is coated on an outer circumference of the layer of inner layer strands. The inner layer strands and the outer layer strands are constituted by twisting together a plurality of steel wires.
