Abstract (en)
The membrane has a body, and a set of surfaces that is located on both sides of the body of the membrane. One of the set of surfaces includes cork particles having a granulometry ranging between 0.5 to 3 mm, i.e. preferably between 1 to 3 mm. The cork particles are heat treated with steam. A reinforcement (1) is impregnated with mineral or plant bitumen, where the membrane with the cork particles is subjected to double calendaring on a surface by utilizing a set of calendaring units (4, 5). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a protective membrane.

Membrane de protection, en particulier une membrane d'étanchéité ou d'isolation sonore, à base de bitume minéral ou végétal comprenant, un corps de membrane, une première et une seconde surface situées de part et d'autre dudit corps de membrane, où la première surface comporte des particules de liège caractérisée en ce que lesdites particules ont une granulométrie comprise entre 0,5 - 3 mm, de préférence entre 1 - 3 mm, et ont été thermotraitées à la vapeur.
