The gripping device (1) has a fluid circuit (3) for controlling the gripping device, where the gripping device is designed for mounting to a fastening element (9) and extends on both sides of the fastening element in the mounting condition. The gripping device on one side of the fastening element has an upper surface enlarged in comparison to another side. The gripping device has a fluid-passage opening (15) acts as a fluid-inlet or fluid-outlet. A closure element (13) is arranged to the fastening element around the gripping device.
