[origin: EP2634343A1] The drive has an electromotive drive unit (5) for moving a leaf of a window opposite to a fixed blind frame (3) by using a drive element i.e. chain. The drive unit is provided with two holders (8, 9) and fixed at the leaf of the window or the blind frame. Sleeve-shaped bolts (11) are arranged at the drive unit and engaged with retainers (10), which are arranged in the holders. Distance between the holders is equal to or larger than a sum of length of a housing i.e. hollow section, of the drive unit and length of the bolts. A lead wire (13) is guided by the bolt. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a drive for a leaf of a window.
