The drive (1) has a drive unit (5) for moving the wing against a fixed blind frame (3) by a drive element (6). The drive unit is fixed to the wing or the blind frame by a holder. An end cap is designed to be arranged in a housing of the drive unit on the front side in a direction. The end cap is fixed in the housing by the engagement of a closure plate in a recess in the housing in another direction perpendicular to the former direction. A bar is arranged on the end cap, on which a threaded pin is supported. An independent claim is included for a method for mounting an end cap on a drive unit of a drive for a wing of a window.

Es wird ein Antrieb für einen Flügel eines Fensters oder dergleichen beschrieben, mit einer Antriebseinheit (5) zum Bewegen des Flügels gegenüber einem feststehenden Blendrahmen mittels eines Antriebselements (6), wobei die Antriebseinheit mit einem Halter (8) an dem Flügel oder dem Blendrahmen festgelegt ist. Die Endkappe (10) ist ausgebildet in einer ersten Richtung stirnseitig in einem Gehäuse (9) der Antriebseinheit angeordnet zu werden, wobei durch den Eingriff einer Verschlussplatte (11) in eine Aussparung im Gehäuse (9) in einer zur ersten Richtung im Wesentlichen senkrechten zweiten Richtung die Endkappe (10) im Gehäuse (9) festlegbar ist. Weiterhin wird ein Verfahren zur Montage der Endkappe an der Antriebseinheit angegeben.
