[origin: WO2012059181A1] The invention relates to a wiper blade (10) for a window wiper of a motor vehicle, comprising a retainer (18) for fixing a wiping element (14) that wipes the window (16) during the wiping operation of the window wiper, wherein the retainer (18) has a main body (20) having at least one contact element. During the wiping operation, the contact element is to be brought in contact with a water deflector (26) that bounds the wiping motion of the wiper blade (10). The at least one contact element is designed as a damping element (30) that has greater flexibility than the main body (20). The invention further relates to a window arrangement for a motor vehicle.
