[origin: WO2012059351A1] The invention relates to a water-bearing household appliance 1 designed in particular as a washing machine or as a washer/dryer, comprising a housing 2, a package receptacle 4 for receiving a package 5 having a liquid basic treatment agent, and an intermediate store 14 disposed in the housing 2 that can be filled with the liquid basic treatment agent from the package 5 that can be placed in the package receptacle 4.
