Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012059182A1] The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for removing gases which are dissolved in a heat carrier liquid which circulates in a thermal circuit which comprises a return line (12) and a feed line (13) and also at least one main heat exchanger which is connected between the return line (12) and the feed line (13), and through which the heat carrier liquid flows, and which heats the heat carrier liquid to a feed temperature in the process. Simple and functionally reliable automatic degassing is achieved by a portion of the circulating heat carrier liquid being drawn from the return line (12) and, for the purpose of expelling the dissolved gases, being heated by means of at least one degassing device heat exchanger (11a) to a temperature which is above the feed temperature, then being cooled down, subsequently being freed from the expelled gases, preferably by means of an air separator (27), and finally being returned to the circuit (16), in particular via the feed line (13).
