Abstract (en)
A shoe with an air circulation system (10) has a porous ventilated upper (20) and a compressible pumping chamber (50) in the heel which pumps cooling ambient air from an external air intake (60) into a three dimensional mesh air distribution pad (70) and out through the porous ventilated upper (20), providing cooling and reducing moisture in the cavity (12) containing the wearer's foot.
