Abstract (en)
The appliance has a steam generating base (1) and a laundry iron (3) connected with each other by a cord (2). The base has a water tank and a storage cavity of the cord, where the cavity is extended transversely to the base. The cavity has an access opening (15A) on a side of the base. The tank has an external wall defined by a tank part (14) made of plastic material obtained by molding. The tank part integrates the cavity. The cavity has a wall made of translucent/transparent material to offer a visual access on a water level in the tank. The cavity opens on two sides of the base.

Appareil de repassage comprenant une base (1) génératrice de vapeur et un fer à repasser (3) reliés entre eux par un cordon (2), la base comportant un réservoir (12) d'eau et comprenant une cavité de rangement (15) du cordon (2), caractérisé en ce que la cavité de rangement (15) s'étend transversalement à la base (1) et comporte au moins une ouverture d'accès (15A, 15B) sur un côté de la base (1), la cavité de rangement (15) comprenant au moins une paroi (16), en matériau translucide ou transparent, offrant un accès visuel sur le niveau d'eau dans le réservoir (12).
