Abstract (en)

The flush-mounted box has a base, side walls (1) adjoining the base, a passage opening (4) for water supply, and a collar (10) made of plastic, which has a closed circumference. The flush-mounted box projects along its circumference at the side walls, with its front edge (11) over the front edge (6) of the side walls with different distances from the base of the flush-mounted box. The collar is slidably guided on the side walls of the flush-mounted box. The collar has a circumferential seal sealingly lying against the side walls of the flush-mounting box.

Abstract (de)

Ein Unterputzkasten für die Montage und die Unterbringung einer Sanitärarmatur wird vorgeschlagen, an dessen Seitenwänden verschiebbar eine Manschette gelagert und geführt ist. Die Manschette kann teleskopartig aus dem Unterputzkasten herausgezogen werden, bis sie in eine maximal mögliche Auszugsstellung gelangt. Gegenüber dieser Stellung kann sie in den Unterputzkasten hinein geschoben werden, bis ihre Vorderkante nur geringfügig über die Vorderkante der Seitenwände vorspringt. Der Unterputzkasten wird so verwendet, dass bei der Montage die Manschette nach vorne gezogen wird, bis die Verfliesung erfolgt ist. Anschließend wird die Manschette nach Innen geschoben, bis ihre Vorderkante nicht mehr über die Vorderseite der Wand vorspringt.
