The locking element is arranged as an extension of the rail. An independent claim is also included for a linear drive.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Feststellvorrichtung (1) für ein Türblatt, umfassend eine Führungsschiene (2), ein in der Führungsschiene (2) in einer Bewegungsrichtung (4) linearbeweglich geführtes Bewegungselement (3), wobei entweder die Führungsschiene (2) oder das Bewegungselement (3) zur Verbindung mit dem Türblatt ausgebildet ist, einen bezüglich der Führungsschiene (4) ortsfesten Elektromagneten (16), und ein vom Elektromagneten (16) anziehbares Verriegelungselement (7), wobei das Verriegelungselement (7) im Bewegungselement (3) in einer zur Bewegungsrichtung (4) senkrechten Verriegelungsrichtung (15) linearbeweglich geführt ist.
