The device (1) has a lock housing (2) and a drive unit, where the lock housing is manually movable between a position in which an operation device (3) is locked, and another position in which the operating device is released. The drive unit is arranged to bring the lock housing from the former position to the latter position. The lock housing includes a battery, where the drive unit brings the lock housing from the former position to the latter position in response to a signal to switch off an electrical power supply.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Verriegelungsvorrichtung, insbesondere für eine Betätigungsvorrichtung (3) einer Tür, umfassend ein Verriegelungsgehäuse (2) und eine Antriebseinheit (4), wobei das Verriegelungsgehäuse (2) manuell zwischen einer ersten Stellung und einer zweiten Stellung bewegbar ist und eingerichtet ist, die Betätigungsvorrichtung (3) der Tür in einer ersten Stellung zu verriegeln, und die Antriebseinheit (4) eingerichtet ist, das Verriegelungsgehäuse (2) aus der ersten Stellung in die zweite Stellung zu bringen. Des Weiteren betrifft die vorliegende Erfindung ein Verriegelungssystem sowie eine Türanordnung (11) mit einer solchen Verriegelungsvorrichtung.
