[origin: EP2636956A1] The present invention relates to an oven door (10), in particular a swing oven door (10) for a cooking oven (12). The oven door (10) comprises a door panel (32) and a hinge (20). The hinge (20) includes at least one first hinge portion (26) fixed at the door panel (32) of the cooking oven (12) and at least one second hinge portion (22, 24) fixable or fixed at the cooking oven (12). The first hinge portion (26) and the second hinge portion (22, 24) are pivoting to each other around a predetermined axis. The first hinge portion (26) is glued at the door panel (32). Further, the present invention relates to a method for preparing an oven door for a cooking oven, wherein the first hinge portion (26) is glued at the door panel (32).
