The support (1) has an installation stamper (2) that is in connection with a coupling element (10) by a telescopic type supporting device. The supporting device is arranged on the installation stamper at a distance from upper- and lower ends (2a, 2b) of the installation stamper. The supporting device is designed as a supporting arm (20) and comprises inner- and outer telescopic links (21, 22), which are movable relative to each other and lockable together in different positions. The coupling element comprises a link assembly (31) that is in connection with a rifle housing (30).

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Schulterstütze (1) eines Gewehrs, insbesondere eines Sturmgewehrs, umfassend einen Anlagestempel (2), wobei der Anlagestempel (2).mit einem Kuppelglied durch eine Stützeinrichtung in Verbindung steht, wobei die Stützeinrichtung von dem oberen und/oder dem unteren Ende (2a, 2b) des Anlagestempels (2) beabstandet am Anlagestempel (2) angeordnet ist.
