[origin: EP2637147A1] The system (1) has a detecting unit for acquisition of sensor signals of hazard reporting sensors (20-22) e.g. fire reporting sensors. A hazard data storage and processing unit (40) i.e. electronic computing and storage unit, comprises a processor for processing the acquired sensor signals and a data storage element for storing the processed sensor signals. A mobile terminal (10) e.g. laptop, is provided with a display unit i.e. picture screen, for visual representation of the processed sensor signals. The fire reporting sensor is a smoke detector. An independent claim is also included for a method for checking operability of a hazard signaling system.
