Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012062497A1] An attachment device and a method for attaching a line, in particular an electric cable in a vehicle, having a sheath which can be secured in a holder and surrounds the line. The sheath has at least two sheath component regions (145) which can be at least partially disconnected from one another in such a way that in a premounted state, the line (5) can be inserted into an internal region of the sheath, and which sheath component regions (145) can be connected to one another in such a way that in a mounted state the line is surrounded completely in an annular shape by the sheath component regions. Owing to the multi-part configuration of the sheath, it can easily be attached to a line. It is possible to use a cost-effective, resistant material, such as for example thermoplastic elastomer, for the sheath, which material can be preferably processed by means of injection moulding.
