The device (1) has radially outwardly extending tubular supporting arms (3) having outlet openings (4,4'), which are arranged in upper front end (2') of standpipe element (2). The standpipe element and arms comprise channel system to conduct dried and/or heated air. The lower free end (2'') of standpipe element has inlet region (5). The standpipe element has rod-shaped heating element (6) to heat standpipe element and/or guided air. The heating element has heating chambers that are linked together so that heating medium flows along length of heating element in a loop-form. An independent claim is included for method for drying textile articles.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Trocknen von textilen Gegenständen, insbesondere Hand- und Saunatüchern umfassend zumindest ein Standrohrelement (2) sowie mehrere von dem Standrohrelement (2) radial nach außen abstehende rohrförmige Tragarme (3) mit einer Vielzahl von Auslassöffnungen (4, 4'), die vorzugsweise im Bereich des oberen stirnseitigen Ende (2') des Standrohrelementes (2) angeordnet sind, wobei das Standrohrelement (2) und die rohrförmigen Tragarme (3) ein Kanalsystem zur Führung eines gasförmigen Mediums, vorzugsweise getrockneter und/oder erwärmter Luft von einem am unteren freien stirnseitigen Ende (2") des Standrohrelement (2) befindlichen Einlassbereich (5) zu den Auslassöffnungen (4) der rohrförmigen Tragarme (3) bilden. Besonders vorteilhaft weist das Standrohrelement (2) zumindest ein sich entlang der Längsachse (L) des Standrohrelementes (2) erstreckendes Heizelement (5) zur Erwärmung des Standrohrelement (2) und/oder des darin geführten gasförmigen Mediums auf.
