The device has a reactor comprising an inner space with an oxidation zone for oxidization of a carbon-containing starting material and a reduction zone for reducing intermediate products of the oxidization. A heating unit (23) is arranged at a post-treatment unit (24) i.e. combustion unit, for heating the residual substance by a thermal reactor. Heat transfer partition walls (21) are provided between the post-treatment unit and the heating unit to transfer heat from the thermal reactor into an inner space (25) of the post-treatment unit and separating the inner space from the heating unit. The reactor is provided as the heating unit. The heat transfer partition walls are formed as reactor cladding housings. The post-treatment unit and/or the heating unit are designed as gasification and/or pyrolysis unit. An independent claim is also included for a system for producing heat energy and/or electrical power.

Es wird eine Anlage bzw. Vorrichtung zur Erzeugung eines brennbaren Gasgemisches aus einem kohlenstoffhaltigen Ausgangsstoff, mit einer Zufuhreinheit zur Zufuhr des Ausgangsstoffs zu einem Reaktor, wobei ein Reaktorinnenraum des Reaktors wenigstens eine Oxidationszone zur Oxidation des Ausgangsstoffes und eine Reduktionszone zur Reduktion wenigstens eines Zwischenprodukts der Oxidation umfasst, wobei der Reaktor wenigstens eine Ausgabeeinheit zum Ausgeben eines kohlenstoffhaltigen Reststoffs umfasst und wobei wenigstens eine Nachbehandlungseinheit (24) zur Nachbehandlung des Reststoffes vorgesehen ist, vorgeschlagen, die gegenüber dem Stand der Technik wirtschaftlicher zu betreiben ist. Dies wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an der Nachbehandlungseinheit (24) wenigstens eine Erwärmungseinheit (7, 23) zum Erwärmen des Reststoffes durch Reaktorwärme angeordnet ist und dass zwischen der Nachbehandlungseinheit (24) und der Erwärmungseinheit (7, 23) wenigstens eine Wärmeübertragungstrennwand (21, 22) zur Wärmeübertragung der Reaktorwärme in einen Innenraum (25) der Nachbehandlungseinheit (24) und zum Trennen des Innenraumes (25) von der Erwärmungseinheit (7, 23) vorgesehen ist.
