Abstract (en)
A hinge element of a hinge (1) for a leaf (3), the hinge (1) comprising a leaf holder (2) to which the leaf (3) is attachable and a connecting part (4) to which the leaf holder (2) is pivotally connected. The hinge element comprises a pivot plug (6) and a guide element (7) for connection to the connecting part (4), the guide element (7) comprising a cavity (20) being in pivoting engagement with said pivot plug (6) comprising a recess (17) providing a cam surface. An elongated element (23, 23', 23'') is arranged in the guide element cavity (20) for sliding engagement with said pivot plug (6) so that a movement of the pivot plug (6) around a pivot axis A moves the pivot plug (6) in a direction along the pivot axis A. Also provided is a hinge that comprises the hinge element.
