[origin: EP2640089A2] The annular membrane-compression driver (1) has an annular membrane (9) which carries an oscillating coil, and a compression driver housing (2), where a central sound guide body (13) is arranged in a collecting chamber (11) and a sound conduct channel (12) with a section exchanged from an annular cross-section in a line-shaped cross-section adjusted to the slot-shaped sound outlet end (15) of the sound conduct channel. The sound conduct channel is formed between the sound guide body and a peripheral wall of a sound wave-guiding element (14).
