[origin: WO2012065627A1] Vacuum cleaner (10) having a dirt collection container (12) and a suction head (14) which can be mounted on the dirt collection container (12), wherein the suction head (14) has at least one suction assembly (16, 8) which forms a flow connection with the dirt collection container (12) by means of a suction duct (30) and a filter device (32) and forms a flow connection with at least one waste air opening (84, 86) by means of at least one waste air duct (66, 68). In order to develop the vacuum cleaner (10) in such a way that it has a high suction power and a compact construction and operation of said vacuum cleaner is associated with a relatively low development of noise, the suction head (14) has two suction assemblies (16, 8) which are arranged next to one another, are positioned at the same level as the filter device (32) in the vertical direction and are surrounded by a common waste air chamber (52), wherein the waste air chamber (52) forms a flow connection with two waste air openings (84, 86) by means of a first and a second waste air duct (66, 68), and the filter device (32) is arranged between the two waste air ducts (66, 68).
