[origin: WO2012065621A1] The invention relates to a floor cleaning device (10), comprising a storage reservoir (22) for a cleaning liquid that is to be applied onto a floor surface (16) to be cleaned, a cleaning device (20) for removing dirt from the floor surface (16), a dirt receptacle (28) for suctioning the removed dirt and cleaning liquid under the effect of a suction unit, and a dirt liquid container (24) for absorbing the suctioned dirt and the suctioned cleaning liquid. According to the invention, the dirt receptacle (28) is retained in a pivoting manner at the floor cleaning device (10) by at least one joint (64), which is composed of a first joint member (52) and a second joint member (50) that interacts with the first joint member, and is pivotable about at least one pivot axis (66, 68, 70). In order to provide such a floor cleaning device (10), the dirt receptacle (28) of which is pivotably retained in a simple and reliable manner at the floor cleaning device (10), it is proposed according to the invention that the first joint member (52) is a joint shell (58) and the second joint member (50) is a joint head (54) mounted in said joint shell.
