Abstract (en)
The pad (1) has an inflatable envelope (2) comprising an upper face (4) and a lower face. A heat producing element (5) is placed above or in contact with the upper face of the envelope. The heating element is connected to a power source (6) to generate heat. The envelope, the heating element and the power source are included in an outer envelope (7). The inflatable envelope is provided with a valve (8) for admitting, expelling or blocking fluid or gas to an interior of the inflatable envelope to form a cushion when the fluid or the gas is blocked in the inflatable envelope. The inflatable envelope is an auto-inflatable envelope. The heat producing element includes a carbon black and/or carbon nanotubes within a silicone matrix. The inflatable envelope comprises an internal medium with a polymeric cellular matrix.

L'invention concerne un coussin chauffant (1) comprenant une enveloppe gonflable munie d'une soupape (8) permettant d'admettre, d'expulser ou de bloquer un fluide ou un gaz à l'intérieur de la dite enveloppe gonflable, de façon à former un coussin lorsque le fluide ou le gaz est admis et bloqué dans ladite enveloppe gonflable, ladite enveloppe gonflable possédant au moins une face supérieure (4) et une face inférieure (3). Un élément producteur de chaleur (5) est placé au-dessus, ou en contact, avec la face supérieure (4) de l'enveloppe gonflable. Cet élément chauffant (5) est connecté à une source d'énergie (6) afin de produire de la chaleur. L'enveloppe gonflable, l'élément chauffant (5) et la source d'énergie (6) sont compris dans une enveloppe externe (7).
