The insulating unit (10) has blocking elements (14) which are extended laterally outward from the core region (12) and are dimensioned so that locking elements in installed state in the rebate contact the mutually facing end faces of two adjacent insulation glass elements. The compression by 10% of the insulating unit in the transverse direction of cross section according to the direction of glass rebate width, acts in the contact area. The elastic restoring force of the deformation of insulating unit is less than allowable shear force on the edge seal of glass element. An independent claim is included for screw facade structure.

Ein Dämmelement für geschraubte Fassadenkonstruktionen ist gestaltet und dimensioniert zur Positionierung in dem Glasfalz zwischen den Stirnseiten zweier benachbarter Isolierglaselemente. Das Dämmelement (10) weist einen Kernbereich (12) auf, der aus Hartschaum, vorzugsweise aus PUR, PVC, XPS, EPS oder Phenolharz besteht und mindestens zwei Sperrelemente (14), die sich vom Kernbereich (12) ausgehend seitlich nach außen erstrecken und dimensioniert sind, so dass die Sperrelemente (14) im Einbauzustand im Glasfalz die einander zugewandten Stirnseiten eines der beiden benachbarten Isolierglaselemente berühren. Das Dämmelement (10) ist so gestaltet ist, dass bei einer Stauchung um 10% des Dämmelements in Querrichtung des Querschnitts entsprechend der Glasfalzbreite die im Kontaktbereich zu dem Isolierglaselement wirkende, elastische Rückstellkraft aus der Verformung des Dämmelements (10) geringer ist als die zulässige Scherkraft auf den Randverbund des Isolierglaselements.
