The lamp (1) has a light entrance surface (11) forming narrow side of a plate-shaped light guide element (10) that radiates a light coupled into the entrance surface over a light exit surface. Wedge-like projections or recesses are formed next to each other on flat sides (12, 13) of the guide element transverse to a light guidance direction, where the sides are formed opposite to the exit surface. The recesses are seen in a direction of the entrance surface and comprise a linear extending wedge region and a circular segment-like region that is arranged subsequent to the wedge region. The lamp comprises light sources e.g. LEDs (50) and organic LEDs (OLEDs).

Bei einer Leuchte (1) mit einer Lichtquelle (50) sowie einem plattenförmigen Lichtleitelement (10) ist die Lichtquelle (50) an einer eine Lichteintrittsfläche (11) bildenden Schmalseite des Lichtleitelements (10) angeordnet und das Lichtleitelement (10) dazu ausgebildet, über die Lichteintrittsfläche (11) eingekoppeltes Licht über eine zur Lichteintrittsfläche (11) im Wesentlichen senkrecht angeordnete Lichtaustrittsfläche abzustrahlen. Das Lichtleitelement (10) ist an der der Lichtaustrittsfläche gegenüberliegenden Seite zumindest teilweise mit quer zur Lichtleitrichtung, nebeneinander liegenden keilartigen Erhebungen oder Vertiefungen profiliert, wobei jede Erhebung bzw. Vertiefung - aus Richtung der Lichteintrittsfläche (11) gesehen - einen sich linear erweiternden Keilbereich sowie einen sich an den Keilbereich anschließenden kreissegmentartigen Bereich aufweist.
