Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2012069385A1] The invention relates to a method for producing flexible polyurethane foams, wherein an isocyanate component (component B) containing fatty acid derivatives which contain hydroxyl groups is used as the starting substance. In accordance with DIN EN ISO 3386-1-98, the flexible polyurethane foams according to the invention have a bulk density ranging from = 10 kg/m3 to = 150 kg/m3, preferably from = 20 kg/m3 to = 70 kg/m3, and in general, the compressive strength thereof ranges from = 0.5 kPa to = 20 kPa (at 40% deformation and fourth cycle) in accordance with DIN EN ISO 3386-1-98. The invention further relates to an NCO-terminated prepolymer containing urethane groups, which can be obtained by reacting one or more polyisocyanates (B1) with one or more fatty acid derivatives (B2) containing hydroxyl groups.
