Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012069238A1] The invention relates to a method for estimating a fly screen effect of an image capture device comprising a plurality of image sensors for providing a piece of light-strength information. The method comprises a step of determining an image property of a piece of image information, based on a plurality of pieces of light-strength information (104) and on a plurality of parameters (108), each of the plurality of parameters being associated with each of the plurality of image sensors respectively. Said method also comprises a step of determining (106) a plurality of parameter values for the plurality of parameters (108), for which the image property is at least made to approximate an ideal image property, the plurality of parameters representing the fly screen effect in a model of the image capture device.
