Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2644060A1] The device has two legs interconnected at longitudinal edges in a right angle to form an L-section. One of the legs has two holes to retain screws, and the other leg has a hole to retain a pin-shaped fastening element e.g. nail. The screws penetrate into the former leg such that screw heads abut at the latter leg, and screw necks protrude out from the former leg and serve as support points for a board to be positioned. The legs have length of about 10 to 100 mm and 10 to 100 mm, width of about 5 to 20 mm and 10 to 50 mm, and thickness of about 1 to 3 mm and 1 to 3 mm, respectively. The screws are made of metal. An independent claim is also included for a kit comprising a fastening device.
