Abstract (en)
The device has a passive identification element integrated with a tool (2) or an accessory, and an active recognition unit (1b) integrated to a machine i.e. industrial truck (1), to identify the tool or the accessory to improve performance of a tool and machine assembly. The passive element is recognized by the active unit in a non-contact manner. The passive element is designed as a passive magnetic element (2b), which includes a non-palindromic magnetic pattern that comprises multiple magnetic poles. The active unit is designed as a magnetic detection active unit.

Un dispositif de détection d'outil (2) ou d'accessoire pour machine (1), notamment pour chariot de manutention, comporte un organe (2b) d'identification passive solidaire d'un outil (2) ou accessoire et un moyen actif(16) de reconnaissance solidaire de la machine ou du chariot (1) de manutention, de manière à identifier l'outil (2) ou accessoire en vue du bon fonctionnement de leur assemblage (1, 2).
